This is the third year in a row of extreme drought conditions. Some residents have been storing rain water collected from systems installed on their roofs and gutters.

Mexico City is rationing water and 70% of its residents now only have running water 12 hours out of the day.

Meanwhile Coca Cola continues to extract billions of gallons of water per year from Mexico to produce sodas that are then sold back to residents that can’t access water, causing diabetes to skyrocket into a public health crisis.
